Most people hate me because I am an atheist. Sorry :(
Atheist or not, has anyone seen this movie?
I found it really interesting- and other friends of mine who ARE religious
also found it interesting. (No, I am not trying to push my beliefs because that is
the very thing I loathe within organized religion)
Just wondering what you all think of this concept.
The Bible? God? Fables/Myths?
Does religion do more good than harm? Vise Versa?
When does it become too extreme? When is it not enough?
No judgments, whatsoever. I am truly just curious because religion
is something that I don't know as much about as I would like.
L&L.

movie looks like it could be interesting if it doesn't rag on faith too much.
nice blog by the way.
an extremist in anything is never a good thing. but one can be religiously inclined, yet still aware of culture and those around them without being judgmental or force beliefs on those around them. blah, religion!
i want to see this movie!
i'm with you on this one; the questions are great.
this movie sounds like an awesome concept - i'm excited to see it.
thanks, rucker! it rags quite a bit- but i would still recommend checking it out. maher is a bit of a paradox with his beliefs but he makes for a funny movie. if you don't take anything too seriously (it can be quite offensive at times for religious people) and instead try to challenge the film for a deeper message, you'll find it to be a fascinating watch.
adam- check it out right away. angelika! let me know what you think
bana love- looks like i will have to send you a bootleg copy in the mail for your birthday- and thank you, as always, for your lovely insight. i may have my opinions but they are far more malleable than maher's so i appreciate it
